The Christian Gonzales Violin Studio LLC offers high-quality violin lessons in San Diego California. It was founded in April 2025 by violinist and San Diego native Christian Gonzales.

The studio is currently open to students of any age 6+ and any level. Lessons are preferred to be done in the teacher's home in El Cajon. The rate is determined by the amount of time for a lesson, experience level, and number of students from a single household (discounts for families with two or more kids). Virtual lessons on zoom are also available. The studio strives to be an ambitious, collaborative, creative, and supportive learning environment.

The teaching principles are influenced by some of history's more influential violin pedagogues including Dorothy Delay, Ivan Galamian, Pyotr Stolyarsky, Schinichi Suzuki, Leopold Auer, Carl Flesch, Oktar Sevcik, and others. The studio does not use a certain single "method," a hybrid and flexible approach is necessary for successful violin instruction in the 21st century.

Christian Gonzales began teaching violin in 2015. While at Juilliard, he took classes in private studio, classroom, and music theory pedagogy. He has given masterclasses across Southern California including for the Bruin Chamber Musicians, All about Music San Diego, San Diego Christian Suzuki Strings, and the West Hills High School Orchestra. Since 2025 he has been hired as an orchestral expert by the Grossmont Unified School District. in 2025, he will be a participant at the Starling-Delay Symposium on Violin Studies at Juilliard.

Christian's students have gone on to become principal chairs of youth orchestras, members of community orchestras, freelance performers, and high school music directors.
